How to analyze a poem

First of all, you have to have a poem to read. 

 Second, you have to start reading it.

 As you go on reading (it's strongly recommended to do it aloud), you have to pay attention to the words, not only the meaning but also the sound. 

 You have to figure out the images in your mind and combine them with the sound coming out from your mouth.

  After completing the reading of the poem, you have to consider to important things: one, the sense of the poem (what the author tried to mean), and two, the rhythm of the poem (how it sound aloud). 

  Once you make your opinion about these subjects, it is advisable to reread the poem once again.

  It is possible that you liked the meaning and not the rhythm or vice versa, but if you like both it sounds like magic.

   Poems are quite like people, you don't have to like all of them, but for certain must be one over there you can fall in love with.
